A few weeks ago I finally felt like I reached a place where all the pain of my whole life has been worth it to feel the way I do now. The amount of horrific, crushing pain I’ve pushed through is bizarre. But the light I feel is so bright. A few days ago I put this on and felt my progress deeply. I went to give my dad a hug and as soon as I did I started crying my eyes out in relief, really realizing how far I’ve come. I wasn’t just crying for me, but also for people who have seen me suffer, and the pain they’ve had with that. It was a deeply healing moment, one I’ll hold close for life. My mom came home and we all sat and talked. I felt supported. I still have a pretty small life on the outside but inside I feel big things are coming. I hope they can look upon that and smile. I hope I can help this world in a big way
